A styled shoot collaboration between me and my friends Bel & Stevie at Studio Tallou.
For this styled shoot we were inspired by the need to adapt the traditional large, grand weddings, to much more intimate elopements and micro weddings, due to the impact that the pandemic has had on the Wedding Industry. We wanted to show that scaling back your wedding doesn't mean you lose the magic of it all, in fact we found you can create some of the most romantic, adventurous and whimsical weddings this way. We all have a natural gravitation towards the beauty and mystery of the forests, and in particularly pine forests, so shooting at Watagans Pine Picnic area was a no brainer for our intimate elopement shoot.
We took inspiration from the dark and moody environment, and the solitude of the forest, combined with the real chemistry of our friends who were recently engaged, allowed us to tell a story of wild and adventurous love.
A cozy and intimate escape from the real world, nestled up in the mountains, with rambling wildflowers and ornate and eclectic treasures sprinkled throughout.
